Meet the instructor

Dominic Barker

 I am the main Computer Science tutor at the Student Success Center and have developed a passion for helping students learn how to code. I am eager to bring my expertise in computer science and my passion for teaching to the Python Programming course for 7th and 8th graders. I am confident that my unique blend of skills, experience, and enthusiasm for technology education makes me an ideal candidate to inspire and educate students. Throughout my tenure as a tutor, I've had the privilege of guiding a countless number of students, tailoring my approach to meet diverse learning styles and needs.

Jack Mosgofian 

 I have over 4 years of hands-on experience in coding and a deep passion for working with computers. My interest in cybersecurity drives me to stay updated with technological advancements and digital safety. As we move toward a more technology-driven society, it is becoming increasingly useful to have a basic understanding of computer information systems. I am excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with students, helping them confidently explore the vast world of computer science. I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment, adapting my teaching style to meet the diverse needs of each student. My goal is to not only teach technical skills but also to inspire a lifelong interest in technology.
