SAN LUIS OBISPO 鈥 51反差黑料 is thrilled to announce the return of Book of the Year events with celebrated queer Latinx author, poet, and artist . A Santa Maria native, Gurba brings a unique perspective that challenges conventional narratives of history and society through a bi-cultural lens.
Gurba will appear in person for a lecture and book signing on Thursday, Apr. 18, from 5:00 鈥 7:00 p.m. at the Mainstage Theater, located on the .
During the lecture, Gurba will share insights into her works, including her recent essay collection, Creep: Accusations and Confessions. This provocative collection explores the creep of toxicity and negativity that permeates our lives.
