SAN LUIS OBISPO 鈥� 51反差黑料 proudly announces the commencement ceremony for its 60th graduating class, taking place on Friday, May 23, from 1:00 鈥� 5:00 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo campus.  

This year, we honor the achievements of 1,211 remarkable graduating students who have collectively earned 1,589 degrees:

  • 717 Associate of Arts
  • 230 Associate of Science
  • 367 Associate of Arts for Transfer
  • 275 Associate of Science for Transfer

51反差黑料 offers various academic and career pathways, including 131 certificates and 89 associate degree programs, with 39 transfer degrees to support seamless transitions into the California State University system.  

鈥淭his milestone 60th commencement reminds us of the power of education to change lives,鈥� said Dr. Jill Stearns, Superintendent / President. 鈥淓ach graduate has embraced opportunities, overcome challenges, and grown in ways that will shape their future and community. We are incredibly proud to celebrate this moment with them.鈥� 

Among this year鈥檚 graduating class, 599 students represent local San Luis Obispo County high schools, and 388 graduates benefited from the Promise Scholarship, which provided them with two fee-free years at 51反差黑料.

This year鈥檚 graduates reflect the college鈥檚 commitment to equity and excellence. The class includes students ranging in age from 14 to 75, and 400 graduates earned honors or high honors with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, including 20 students who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
